Princess Cake - Pretty Pink Princess

This was a 4-layered moist chocolate sour cream cake with chocolate cream filling and butter cream icing and decoration. I also used drop flowers on the doll's gown and on the cake board. A truly moisty and delicious cake. I did this cake for Anamah who was turning 4, for her birthday celebration at her kindergarten. Her mum later wrote me a note to thank me and to let me know that Anamah loved her cake and it was a big hit! Thanks Mary, I truly appreciates your thank you note and feels really flatered!

Princess Castle Cake

My latest cake (June 29, 2008) was a "Princess Castle Cake" which I baked from scratch and decorated for the celibration of our daughter's 5th birthday last Sunday (Chocolate inside with butter cream and fondant icing for decor) . The cake was enormous and it took me a whole day to decorate it. I still consider myself a novice when it comes to decorating cakes (which is evident on my cakes!). I was however, very pleased with the end result on this cake and so was my daughter and all the guests at the party! After the guests had gone, my daughter gave me a big fat hug and kisses and said; "Mummy thanks for my beautiful castle cake"! You are welcome Princess Assiya! was my reply.

Barbie Cake

This cake was my first major decoration project. I am a self taught cake baker/decorator. I made this for my daughter Assiaya's 4th birthday party last year, July 2007. I had lot of fun decorating this cake and it was well appreciated! Which always makes the hard work worth all the effort!
